California Delta Welcomes New General Manager

August 14, 2004 -- June 14, 2004 - California Delta, Stockton, CA. - Herman & Helen's Marina, Inc, announces a change in management.

Terry Grimes has been named the new General Manager of Herman & Helen's Marina. The current GM, Andrew Smith, will continue to oversee the marina operations during the transition period and will eventually phase out to concentrate on his career as a Trust Attorney.

As the new General Manager, Terry Grimes will be responsible for management of all aspects of marina operations including personnel, sales, leasing, purchasing, maintenance, government regulation compliance, etc.

"I intend to maintain an enthusiastic and honest environment where customers as well as the marina staff can encounter a friendly and rewarding experience", says Grimes. "After all, customer satisfaction is the key to any successful business, and it starts with efficient operations and happy, well trained personnel"

Mr. Grimes enters this position with a solid management background. He is owner and operator of a general contracting company, Grimes Construction Services. Prior experience includes construction management, property management, lead carpenter and foreman.

Herman & Helen's Marina is one of the largest and longest established marinas on the Delta, and is part of the houseboats.com family of marinas serving Northern California.
